Russian Folk Tales, part 2

Today I'd like to show you some pictures from Russian folk tales. Children usually get books with pictures so it's essential to look at what artist created in order to understand narrative better.

This is Tzar and his closest family on the left and come visitors (from another country maybe) on the right (see story of Tsar Saltan).


This is bear who didn't know he took a girl with him: she wanted to escape after being kidnapped and hide in his basket (see full story: Masha and the bear). 


This must be fire-bird (see full story: Fire-Bird)
