Hello Angela!

First, I have to admit one thing. I love sad music. Sad, introverted, slow. With this being said let's move to three examples of Russian composers I like.


Mikael Tariverdiev is the best. He wrote more than 130 soundtracks for amazing Soviet movies. He won USSR State Prize (1977) and the Prize of the American Music Academy (1975).



Evgeny Grinko reminds me of Yann Tiersen.
He is young and talented.



Igor Vdovin is a bit mystical. He wrote soundtrack music for several movies also. I personally like this theme:
