Savings book

This is how bank cards looked like back in USSR (and this thing still works).

This light blue "savings book" was the main thing you would carry with you in a case of fire. It holds account details and all the transactions: every time you come to "SavingsBank" (ex-main state bank), you bring it with you and they print a line with today's date and transaction info in a book with a special machine.

History of a life in a little blue book.
